DCS3 LLC operates Pinlight at https://usepinlight.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it and how you can contact us about it. Pinlight is a business service for agencies and their teams.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, sign-in information and communications with support.
- Agency and team data: agency names, memberships, invitations, roles and account settings.
- Business and tracking data: client and business details, locations, websites, keywords, grid settings, imported scans and other information you enter. We also collect the search results and public review data needed for your tracking requests.
- Payment data: Stripe handles payment details. Pinlight never sees full card numbers. We receive billing information such as payment status, subscription details and transaction identifiers.
- Usage logs: requests, timestamps, IP addresses, browser and device information, errors and records of how features are used.
How we use data
We use data to authenticate users, manage agencies and teams, run scans, calculate results, deliver reports, process billing and provide support. We also use it to maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, understand service usage, improve Pinlight and meet legal obligations. We send account and service messages, such as invitations and billing notices.
When you enter client data, we process it to provide the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to provide that data and for giving your clients any required notices.
Service providers and sharing
We use the following providers to operate Pinlight. They receive the information needed for their role:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Vercel: hosting and analytics.
- Stripe: payments and subscription billing.
- Resend: email delivery.
- DataForSEO: search results for the locations and keywords you track.
- Apify: public review data.
- Google: maps and sign-in.
Team members can access data according to their permissions. Anyone with an enabled share link can view the data made available through that link. You can turn links off. When you connect an AI assistant or another integration, we share data as directed by your authorized requests; the connected provider's own privacy terms also apply.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or transfer of the business, subject to applicable privacy protections. Providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Cookies and analytics
Pinlight uses cookies for your sign-in session, agency selection and interface preferences such as the sidebar state, plus Vercel Analytics. We also use Vercel Analytics to understand visits and usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, but sign-in and agency selection may stop working.
Retention
We keep account, agency and tracking data while it is needed to provide your service. Canceling a subscription does not by itself delete your account or retained credit balance. You can request account and data deletion by email. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, except information we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may remain until they are replaced through normal backup cycles.
Your rights and choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@usepinlight.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over an agency before acting. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for the reasons described above. If an agency entered your information on a client's behalf, we may coordinate with that agency to handle your request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, authenticated sessions and encrypted connections, to protect data. Access is limited according to users' roles and service needs. No system is completely secure, so keep your account credentials and share links safe and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
Pinlight is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service and data practices change. We will update the date on this page and notify you of material changes by email or in the service.
